If the love of your life talks about his future but never once says anything about you... its always all about him..i just got off the phone and for over an hr he just talked about himself..and how his heart is in the military building bombs and guns ect. the place where he feels the more important and he even said its his one true love!! Ok we not together but were inlove with each other and he wanted to wait till he got out of school cause hes 3hrs away before we built anything due to the fact that right now our relationship would fail with all the stuff we both have going on..but now its like im just here for a plan b..would this bother any of you?

im 24 and hes 29.

I had the same situation happen to me. We were together and he never included me in his visions of the future. We were engaged at the time too. You know what happend? He picked that love over me. ( he was into the same things your guy is. ) One day he just didnt love me anymore. Maybe he never did. but my point is, dont wast your time. You will only end up being hurt in the end. Go for someone that wants you now, and makes sure that you know that they love you and will always want you in their life. Thats what you deserve and you shouldnt settle for any less.

Of course it's bothersome. If he doesn't mention you in his future when he is talking with you I don't blame you for feeling bummed. Sounds like he doesn't have you in focus. I see two options. First, ask him point blank if you are in his future, where and how and when. Or, just dump him now and find someone else who says what you want to hear.

well... I don't know how old you two are but if you're young enough he may not be thinking about marriage and maybe he doesn't think he'll be marrying you. Sorry to say x_x
