Given the forum this is in, I'm going to assume you're referring to spiritual teaching.

The Bible says in James 3:1, "My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment."

So yes, you can teach it and not practice it, but when you go through the refining fire it's gonna be a rough ride.

Certainly- I can teach you how to set type or make a broom, though those things specifically are not part of my regular practices.

Of course.

For example, I know far more about the history of Christianity than most Christians do and I don't practice that religion.

If he were still around I would certainly listen to Babe Ruth teach me how to hit a home run.

Stupid question.

Of course you can. Just because you dont practice ancient pagan religions, doesnt mean you cant study them objectively and teach from a place of knowledge.

Sure you can. A person can educate others about religions they don't observe themselves. But I would say a person cannot and would not try to convert a person to a religion that he/she him/herself does not practice.

"Do as I say, not as I do" as many parents say...

You may tell your kids too much candy is bad for them...but then you go and eat a bunch of candy...

Same thing, but just with religious beliefs...
