I'm moving to alabama in a few weeks. So I quit my job, got ready and am preparing to find a place with my girlfriend when I get up there. Problem is, how will I get accepted? I need a place to live obviously, but I need a job also. I can't get a job unless I have a place to live, but I don't know how I can get a place to live if they require I have a job first? What the hell? How do people move?

That's moving all right!
When you get there rent a room in a hotel (go for the
more inexpensive ones anywhere from $40-$70 per night)
Before you get there search for a job through the internet in
monster.com or similar sites. schedule an interview and
see how it goes. If u are well prepared you'll get the job. :p

The ideal situation is you saved enough money to rent a place to live before you moved-landlords don't care if you have a job as long as you can pay what they ask. If you didn't save some money you are screwed-better see if you can get your job back and work until you saved some cash.
