Fortunately today there is no need to resort to the ludicrous supernatural - a quick trip to the paternity clinic and a routine DNA test will sort it out.

PS she is so out of here.

I'd write a 2000 page best-seller fiction novel, put a copy in every hotel room around the globe and become a multi-billionaire.

I'd have statues built of my girlfriend cradling the child and charge people to sit and watch them.

I'd hire people to work in buildings and abuse small boys.

I'd basically re-make Christianity.

God told Joseph in a dream that Mary conceived by the Holy Spirit. Otherwise Joseph could hardly have been expected to believe what she told him.

Matthew 1:18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: when His mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child by the Holy Spirit.
19 And Joseph her husband, being a righteous man and not wanting to disgrace her, planned to send her away secretly.
20 But when he had considered this, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, "Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife; for the Child who has been conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit."

Well first off, I'd be quite concerned as to who this woman is, because I don't have a wife/girlfriend/female companion. And it's highly unlikely I'll be getting one. (Though my husband might not mind)

Otherwise, why should I disbelieve her if she seems perfectly fine in all other aspects? What harm in her believing that way?

No one would believe her... I often think about what Mary went through when she had to tell Joseph that also...
another sort of related event.. When Jesus returns to earth, think about it.. Will anyone believe its him.. what if some man from the middle east comes up and says "Hey, Im Jesus".. You know the western media will be all over that.. "some terrorist dude claiming to be Jesus from the middle east".. no one would believe him...

Although this may not seem like a serious answer, I think it would be pretty damned cool.
