obviously this is meant to be sarcasm.

i suppose this is geared towards those people who insist god is great 9whichever god0 and merciful and does all these good things.

remember now...you can try to blame it away on some terrestrial problem...or even try to say sin is the cause of it all...but your gods lack of action speaks independently.

whatever god can sit back and not care about whats happening there....well....if he is real...his inaction is a really, REALLY bad sign.

...the more you know.

its a good thing i suppose that christians go over to feed them...of course theyre not really going over to feed them...theyre going to convert them. say what you will but thats, i think, is the real reason they go.

and as i stated...your gods inaction speaks volumes on its own. is it okay with you that your god sees these horrible thingsand does nothing? is he perfectly fine allowing these people to suffer until they die?

ah, maybe the bibles you bring them will give them solace until they die of starvation...

You make a very good point.. I can't argue with it.

I don't think that any reasonable minded individual could continue to support the supposition that there is a compassionate and loving god watching over us whenever such needless human suffering continues to be so very obvious.

The missionaries who respond, however vested they may be, ought not to be thanked as angels of god, nor should their kind actions be attributed to the power and glory of god, but rather, they ought to be thanked fully for themselves and their good work attributed to the power and glory of mankind.

We are the good Samaritans, and we are so entirely of our own accord... we are the compassionate and loving "gods" of ourselves. There is nothing outside of our own human nature that compels us to take action where action is needed - it is of our own doing that we show our generosity and it's time to finally recognize that fact correctly. Leaving problems up to our gods to solve would be absolute lunacy, a folly of disaster, and trusting that our prayers will be answered will make no problem better - there is no substance to prayer.

It's up to us to play god; there is no other to stand in. The whole truth is not that "There is no god, but god;" but rather, it is only that "There is no god."

Thanks for you post.

I know there are a lot of horrendous things in the world, and I think the same thing sometimes, but if all suffering and unequallity was abolished and god showed himself as he corrected these things what would be the point of our creation/ (i'm not saying these things HAVE to exist to prove our existance) but if he "god" made everything good, what would "faith" be for.

We are the ones that chose to have free will... to have a choice of whether we would be sincere to Allah (God) in worship or not. The only way to prove our sincerity is to live through the various trials of this world and remain on the straight path. This takes much patience! And Allah (God) did put enough food here to sustain us all... though some greedy humans have taken most of that food for themselves. It's our actions that cause our brothers and sisters amongst mankind to go hungry. Allah (God) knows best.

You obviously do not know who God is. If you think he is love, love, love, you thought wrong. He is going to squish billions of people when Jesus returns. If you believe in other God's, they wold have to wonder why God is not there for them. God's promise people are the descendants of Abraham. his people are scattered through out the world and he is gathering back as we speak. The United States (Manasseh) is his battle Axe, to control other countries. Great Britain (Ephraim) and Jerusalem (Judah) are the other two he is gathering back together.

The starving people of this world are proof that greed exists (and its corollary money)

Of course for many money is god so both God and gods exist.

God provides for all and He is great...just because He provides for all does not mean all get it. In America the government pays people not to grow crops...when they should be paying the farmers to grow crops and then send those crops to Africa...

Think of it like that...we have an over abundance of food, they have little...why not give it to them...then guess what they wont starve!!!

Better yet, why not give them food to eat, plants to plant and modern irrigation systems so they can grow their own food?

so what's it to you? If you do not have a soul why would you even care about those people?

if there is no heaven and there will not be a hell at sometime in the future then why worry about it?

just worry about your own problems. Just in case there is a God, you wouldn't want to be caught bad mouthing him.

Don't you see Christians trying to do something about it?
We, with our own church money provide as much shelter, food, and other things as we can.

Dont worry, There will come a day when the Lord will return and cleanse this world of all sin and all suffering.

"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away" (Rev. 21:4)

why the thumbs down???
"Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?" (Gal. 4:16)

Actually, feeding them is just perpetuating the problem - only if there are resources enough to feed the children they produce will the problem be solved.
