Is this true? If you buy your bf/gf a perfume, you will never end up together, meaning you will break up eventaully, its like a bad omen. And I have heard that if you try the perfume on you the first time, it will break the myth? I would love to know what you think about this in general?

YEP!! IT's true!!
And if you don't forward this answer to 10 of your friends in teh next 3 minutes, flame eating pygmies will run rampant through your house while you underwear turns carniverous and eats your crotch!!!
Seriously, myths are just that.....myths.....buy the perfume, if he/she ditches you later it had nothing to do with the perfume.

i heard about that whole perfume "supersticious" stuff, and i don't believe that at all. i bought my boyfriend a cologne before as a gift (at the beginning of our relationship), and we're still together up to now, it's been a lil over 2 years now!
so i personally don't believe in that, but others might... if they have a strong believe in those myths..

If you think that its a bad omen, and you become worried about it, then you will run the relationship into the ground. It's all how you percieve and what you make of it. I don't believe in luck, or omens, or soul mates, or things happening for a reason. You choose what kind of life you make, and you only are responsible for what happens to you. see, I used to give my bf expensive perfumes all the time, cause I didn´t like very much the one he used to buy...from the first moment..I mean... We have now almost 20 years of marriage...You tell me if that nonsense works..And that´s what I think...it´s a nonsense...

Wow, I have never heard that before, but that's quite interesting. But anytime any of my exes bought me perfume, my first thought was "Does he think I smell bad?" Where did you hear this from?
