I have rehearsed the scenario in mind,a number of times and am convinced that I would...however the Grace to do so,really is only available when it is needed,in real time. One thing is for sure,Grace is everything.

I asked my dad and my husband this very question, at different times in my life.
They both gave me the same answer. I am a veteran of a war. (WW2,Korea, Vietnam). I have been willing to die for the idea of freedom. Of the right of a people to be able to talk, and to live.
They sacrificed so much and their lives were changed forever because of it.
Would I be able to do the same? I sure hope so. I don't know if I could hold up to the fervor and passion that our soldiers do everyday. But I would like to think that I would.

You do not hold any punches do you? well it is easy to say yes right now, but the truth of the matter is no one can say because we do not know the circumstances surrounding the events in our lives at the time that a decision like this would have to be made. But I do want to say that GOD will be with us throughout the last days and will always lead and guide us if we make ourselves available to HIS will. What does that all mean? It means that I can do all things thru CHRIST who strengthens me. It means That GOD is faithful, that with the temptation HE will make a way of escape, that we should be able to bear it. It means that if I 'trust in the LORD with all my heart and lean not on my own understanding, and in ALL MY WAYS ACKNOWLEGE HIM, THEN HE will direct my paths. It means wait on the LORD, be of good courage and HE will strengthen your heart. Wait I say, on the LORD.

If i knew my death would make a difference yes. Right now I'm pretty happy with my life so it would have to be a big difference. Under other circumstances maybe I would die just to help change the minds of a few people.

yes! I would die for Christ. If I was forced to choose between life and death and life meant denying Christ, I would choose death. No doubt! He died for me, I would die for Him. So many people have died this way. There are more martyrs in this century than there have EVER been. Read the Book of Martyrs. It's mind blowing and heart breaking.

I am prepared to die but I am not prepared to kill innocent people. I would die for Islam , It is my way of life , my identity. But I will only do as the holy Quran says & Islam is a peaceful religion.

Not generally.
If I'm dead, I can hardly benefit from it.
Only exception would be if dying would be preferable to the current situation (for example, I was imprisoned with no chance of escape). Even then, I'd weigh the odds of succeeding in staying alive.

"I am prepared to die but there is no cause for which I am prepared to kill."
Gandhi
The young man who refused to move and was ran over by a tank in Tienemen Square has always been one of my heroes. Think of how many lives he has touched with his act of civil disobedience.

I am less then nothing without God, an empty shell and no use to family or anyone else...I Will not, I cannot, deny my Father God...I have done so once and it was hell...death would be far sweeter then that..
Peace be with you :)
