Dog products tend to be stronger than cat products, as cats are more sensitive to pesticides. A good thorough rinsing as soon as possible is the best thing to do, and it sounds like you already did that. Probably nothing will happen, but things to watch for are dry red skin and itchiness, or things like tremors, seizures, drooling, twitching if the cat is overly sensitive to pesticides. If you see anything like a seizure or tremors, then get to a vet ASAP. A skin reaction can wait till normal office hours. Keep an eye on her just in case, if anything is going to happen it will happen within a day.

First off make sure when you do decide to give your animal (whether it's a dog or a cat) an at home flea treatment DO NOT used store bought products from local pet stores or markets ( e.g HARTZ ) because they are poisonous to your animals and could cause serious health problems. And FLEA COLLARS are NOT EFFECTIVE ...Take your cat to the vet and they could give them a pill called "capstar" that will kills all the fleas in a matter of a day, and then continue with a monthly dose of Advantage/Frontline, this is the only true effective way of keeping your cat Flea-free along with other potential harmful pests such as flea transfer of tapeworms to your cats, ticks, ear mites.

I would rinse her well and maybe even rewash her with a few drops of original Dawn dish soap (that's what my vet tells me to use on young kittens that can't have soap yet with certain ingredients.) After all, it is Dawn that they clean the wildlife with that have come in contact with certain elements such as oil. Don't use any dog products on cats, or even food items. Good luck.

Probably nothing, but I wouldn't do it again. Many flea treatments are based on an animals weight and I assume you don't have Catzilla, so best to be safe and use something else.

I did the same thing with my kitty and she was perfectly fine. I don't think you hurt it very much. The thing you should worry about is if it starts getting a rash.

You've already rinsed her so it should be fine. Just watch for a rash but if it was just this once then it should be fine.
