In the New Testament, (1 Cor. 13:13) Paul said that out of the three great virtues, being faith, hope and love, the greatest of these is love. Pretty much the whole chapter of First Corinthians 13 talks about how love is so important. Also, Jesus said that the greatest commandment is to love God with all your heart, soul, and mind, and the the second greatest is to love your neighbor as you love yourself (Matt. 22:36-40). So I would definitely say love's your answer.

Love, because peace follows love. 1 Corinthians 13 states that Love is the highest virtue a Christian can ever have.

Acceptance.
Being able to accept that things are not set in stone
that people will not follow your exact path
that people do what they do for reasons of their own,
and that you shouldn't try meddling with their lives.
Acceptance that a man marrying a man is their decision,
or woman and woman.
Hell, woman and bull or man and cow for all you should care.
It doesn't affect you.
Acceptance that what defines christianity is not the Bible, but the followers,
and that sadly,
that definition has a lot of work to be done
before it reaches any kind of decent.
Acceptance is the best virtue any christian could ever have. Pray for it.

To be able to sit quietly at the feet of the Father and abide in Him. From this place of rest and abiding, come all virtues. We cannot love until we've first been loved.

The greatest virtue anyone can have is wisdom because it will lead you to acquire all the others.

1Co 13:12 We see now through a glass in a dark manner: but then face to face. Now I know in part: but then I shall know even as I am known.
1Co 13:13 And now there remain faith, hope, and charity, these three: but the greatest of these is charity.
... Charity is just another word for love.

Humility mixed with love. That is why Christ once said, " the least in heaven is the greatest is heaven". Should it be any different here on earth?
