Knowledge ability make one knower of a subject/many subjects in a field &/or diffferent fields. It makes one informative.E.g one is informative about a subject, subject issues/chapters.
wisdom comes out of experience in applying a subject knowledge (subject dictates).Wisdom makes one wise. wisdom is a product of experience. All the knowledgable people need not of experience (they may do parroting on subject knowledge).Truly wise & person with wisdom knows the limits of subject & its knowledge as well as its place amongst other subjects.wise person will be really knowledgeable on subject by assimmilating the subject in a right way & applying its true wisdom.

knowledge is quanitative, and wisdom is qualitative.
knowledge is something that you can get from books or just through someone telling you. you can have knowledge of ANYTHING, but is mostly informational. you cannot have knowledge of love or hatred, but you can have wisdom in dealing with these subjects.
wisdom is something you gain from experience, through your own trials and tribulations. it is something that you have learned and grown from as a result, usually life lessons. wisdom usually implies some kind of personal or moral revelation, not informational. you cannot be wise in math or physics, but can be knowledgable about it.
both can help you make smarter choices.
