Do you want Auto, Semi-Auto, Pump, Double Barrel, Over-Under, Hybrid Shotgun/RIfle Combo, or sawed off?

Will that be in 2 1/2, 2 3/4, 3, or 3 1/2 inch shells?

If you are going to dream at least give us more to work with here.....lol

Browning and a few others made a bolt action shogun that is superior to a pump or autoloader in terms of accuracy with a slug. I don't believe they make them any more but you might find one on the used market.

Otherwise I would abandon the idea of a 20 gauge and go with a 12 gauge. A Remington 870 with a slug barrel would be my first choice followed by a Mossberg.

Good luck.

Go with a H&R Ultra slug Hunter/Tamer in 20 gauge use the Horndary SST sabot slugs and you will have zero drop at 150 yards...........when all is said and done you will be able to get a new factory fitted barrel you can change over to any caliber anything for .22 hornet to 45/70 ,,makes the gun a little more versatile and then you can change the barrell yourself and go hunting with slugs.

You should buy a mossberg 500. you can get sets that come with a smoothbore barrel and a rifle barrel. some of the rifled barrels are cantilever, meaning they were designed specifically to take scopes only

You could also use brenneke sabot slugs and they can go through a smoothbore without dealing any damage to the barrel

Forget the 20 and get a Remington 870 pump 12 gauge with 20 rifles barrel. It won't bankrupt you and will satisfy your wildest desires. It is simply the most reliable shotgun on planet earth.
