That all depends on what you are looking for in a truck. Do you want full-size comfort or mid-size cramping? I rode all the way to New Mexico and then on to North Carolina and back to Michigan in a Dakota. I can tell you that for someone who is 6 feet tall it's not a comfortable ride.

I have a 6 cyl Dodge Dakota SLT and my girlfriends brother has the Hemi. My Dakota gets 12 mpg and the Ram get 17 even with a heavy foot i would definitely get the ram

well, it doesn't matter what anyone thinks
it all comes down to what you think about your truck
don't try to impress anyone by buying the bigger badder truck
because no one cares about that. you should buy the truck that fits your needs like towing, mudding, using a snowlow, hauling, camping, fishing. whatever you use the truck for, make sure it's an all around truck that fits your needs.
Also the decision is also made easier when you consider gas mileage.
personally i'd choose the Dodge Ram
i bought one 9 months ago and have put 6,700 miles on it
thats very little miles for 9 months but, i only live 1.2 miles from work.

What are you using the truck for. 1s a full size an the other a mid range. caring weight & towing than the Ram. The price isn't that much difference. We have 2 3500 diesels & a 1500 all lifted with large tires. Great truck i can't fit in the mid range 6' to cramped.Won't carry much.

the way the gas is now i would go with a dakota evan though the rams are very nice but the are suck the gas down quick. if your a travling guy or a construction guy u should go with the ram for comfort and towng capicity.it depends on your taste

Ive driven them both. I think the Dakota is nicer to drive. However its a little smaller, tows less, and hauls less. Just depends on which one fits your needs. They cost about the same too. They also have mostly the same engines (except the Hemi) and get the same mileage.
