First, it's always a good idea to check it out with your doctor...when in doubt. But if you've been lifting heavy items or weights you may have pulled a muscle, but check it out with your doctor.

There are several reasons for chest pain, which is often mistaken for a heart attack. In the case of a heart attack, you will find pain on pressing Acupressure Point No. 36. If there is no pain on that point, there is no cause for worry. Give treatment on the middle of the back of the left arm for 3-5 minutes. There will be no more chest pain. Regarding others problems, take Acupressure treatment on all endocrine glands twice daily including Points nos. 21,22,23, 25,26 & 28 only. After 7 days you will feel better & do this treatment up to 3 months, you will be cured from aforesaid diseases.

There are many different things this could be. Not trying to be scary but it could be something wrong with your heart. Or it could be something as simple as a gas pain. Have you ever had stomach problems before? If so it could be really bad gas pains. I used to think i was having heart problems when my chest hurt under my left breast as well. It was a throbbing, aching pain and sometimes it would cause my heart to beat really fast. Ended up, it was panic attacks and anxiety. So if you are stressed, sometimes your chest will hurt pretty bad. Good luck and I hope your okay :)

Pulled muscle. try heat if it works that is what the problem is. If it doesn't than if it hurts when you breathe it could be pleurisy. That is very painful and you would need to get checked by a doctor. You should anyway because chest pains are nothing to mess with so get calling.

I don't think you have anything to worry about. Sounds to me like you pulled a muscle, but since I'm not a doctor I would suggest you seeing yours a.s.a.p just to be sure everything is okay. Another thing is to get a second opinion if you feel your Dr. has not addressed your concerns
good-luck=

This could be related to a condition called costochondritis (inflammation of the cartillage around the ribcage). I would recommend having this situation evaulated by your doctor to see what they say.
