as opposed to the other apostles who actually learned from Jesus while he was in the world?

Is there a theological reason for this, or did he just write more and so his words are more emphasized?

Yes, I am aware that the apostles' words were not written at the time of Jesus.

"But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel: For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake." - Acts 9:15-16

And how a Christian (if tuberoot is a Christian) can tell a non-Christian "you might as well give it up" is unbelievable...

The other apostles didn't learn from jesus while he was in the world. None of the gospels were written by anyone during Jesus's time, they were all written from 70 to a couple of hundred years later. It is highly unlikely that any of the apostles named in the gospels even lived. Do some research.

Why Christians put such an emphasis on Paul is because this is what the original founding Church of Christianity, the Catholic Church, has gone by from the beginning of its reign, and that is what has been passed down ever since.

He has been termed the greatest of the apostles because of his zeal and courage . He was inspired by the Holy Spirit to write as well as he did about what he did . Once a persecuter of christians ,he became a slave for christ . On the road to Damascus the apostle Paul saw a great light from above and heard Jesus say why do you persecute me and that was the day of his conversion --- So the Lord Jesus actualy chose Paul for His work ..just like he did the other apostles . Good question ...

Sol of Tarsus later became apostle Paul he and his 75000 words in letters are the only link from when Jesus died and John, Mathew, Luke, Larry or was it Thomas there's another Gospel writer. The bible showed up a hundred years after Jesus died the original apostles didn't write anything, Paul was supposedly visited by a spirit and told to spread the word of Jesus his writings and the bibles writings are two different animals. But Paul is all they have to link the time Jesus lived and the invention of the bible.

no when paul became like whoever he was speaking to it meant he was speaking their language. that means he was talking to them in a way they would understand. if i wanted to go to europe and try to expand my business i would speak as they do i would learn their mannerism and slang and things like that to better my chances. i would not lie. the second part is about how paul knew God was in charge so if some were preaching Christ out of envy and rivalry God had a reason for allowing it so if God had not sent someone to stop it at least Christ was being preached. this does not mean it was right but shows that God can speak through whomever He chooses. even evil. good example is how God is presented today by the majority of churches. they are wrong because God is Love and mercy and compassion and the message they give is that God is hate or selfishness or prideful and doing rituals. this really makes me angry but i know that someday soon, that will all change so for now i say at least Christ is being preached. Peace!!

Basically, the disciples Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John wrote what are known as the Gospels. They more or less tell the story of Jesus from His birth to His death and resurrection. But Paul was given the task of traveling to many different areas and ministering to these different people and he wrote about practically all these different civilizations. His God-inspired teachings to these different groups are at the backbone of Christianity.

i think some had to do with the fact he is the one that preached the word to the gentiles (us of course), he did not think he was better then the rest, he lets you know he was one of the biggest sinners, he has alot of encouragement for us, he explains that it is Gods grace on us why were saved and not cause were "perfect". the other disciples tried to keep everybody away from Jesus (even children), i wonder if they would have accepted us not being Jews? i guess i just appreciate Paul.

Peter, Paul, and John ALL EXPLICITLY call Jesus "God" with John having over 40 instances (combined explicit and implied by the language) in one book... Which of the three do you suggest we believe?

2 Timothy 3:16 (King James Version)

16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Paul wrote a big portion of the New Testament, so he is mentioned a lot. But we believe that all scripture is the inspired word of God.

2 Peter 3:15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
