A very slow-drying oil paint designed to provide a proper painting surface. Also used to thin other oil colors for application over thicker paint.

Just use normal titanium white.

Bob Ross uses a "medium" to mix his paint. Usually it's a combination of oils and spirits such as terpintine. It is used to change the paint, to make it either more liquid, or dry faster, or some other desired effect.

You don't need to use it to paint, but it can help you to do some amazing effects, and really helps with detailed areas.
