CandleQueen...you have spoken true....
Thing is, some of us knew God before we ever knew Jesus, while others found Jesus before they found God.
I personally love Jesus, but, feel I have a more personal relationship with Father God whom taught me His Word and love and then introduced me to Jesus, His Son, and the Holy Spirit, whom I found was like an old friend/Teacher.
Those whom found God THROUGH Jesus, feel a more personal relationship with Him then with God, so, when they speak of the "Lord", it often sounds like they are saying that Jesus is God, when, all they are saying is that Jesus and God are as ONE.
Neither way is "wrong"...either way, you still have God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
Peace be with you :)

God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are one and the same and have existed from the beginning of time, according to the bible. God is God. Jesus is God in Human form. The Holy Spirit is what God/Jesus sent after Jesus ascended into Heaven and dwells within believers.

Well some Christians have this weird unexplainable thing called the Trinity. All throughout the Gospel it is made very clear thhe Jesus is God's son, however later it was said that Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit were all the same being. Which would make Jesus a schizophrenic, since right before he was betrayed by Judas he prayed to God and in many points throughout the Gospels speaks of his Father in Heaven.

I am no longer a practicing religious person, but growing up catholic, I was taught that jesus is/was god as man on earth, but god and jesus are one in the same, along with the holy spirit. Its the confusing issue of the holy trinity, one god as 3 separate manifestations.

Hi CandleQueen. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are one in the same and there are many scriptures that God uses to tell us this is true. In John 1:1 God tells us He is the Word:
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
In John 1:14 God tells us the Word is Jesus:
“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.”
We read in Genesis 1:1 that God created the world:
“in the beginning God created the Heaven and the earth”
In Hebrews 1:1-2 God reveals that it was Jesus that created the world:
“God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, 2 has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds;”
In Colossians 1:16-17, Jesus is called the creator of the world:
“For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him“.
When we look at these verses and tie them to Genesis 1:1 we see that Jesus is the Creator. Since Christ is the Creator, He is God.
In Hebrews 1:8 God calls Jesus God:
“But to the Son He says:“ Your throne, O God, is forever and ever;
A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.”
We know from reading Isaiah 43:11 that God is telling us there is no Saviour besides Him:
“I, even I, am the LORD, And besides Me there is no savior.”
Jesus is the Savior. We read in Matthew 1:21:
“And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins.”
When we look at the Bible in its entirety we can see without a doubt that Jesus Christ is God Himself.

Ben Franklin's words mimick mine very closely on this matter:
"I have, with most of the Dissenters in England, some Doubts as to his Divinity; tho’ it is a question I do not dogmatize upon, having never studied it... I see no harm, however, in its being believed, if that Belief has the good Consequence"
Similarly I don't know if Jesus is God, period, or some sort of subordinant to God. I don't see any arm in it being believed, because Christ never said, "You do me too much honor!". People worshipped him and had faith in him and he didn't stop them.

Jesus is God in human form...they are not one in the same, they are separate but all part of the trinity, you are correct.
Don't know how Jesus is God in human form, but not God Himself? When your mom and dad had you, your dad is part of you and your mom is part of you...so Jesus is not 100% God, but God is in Him like your father is in you...
