Personally, I think as long as it's clean, long hair on guys is sexy.
Either way is fine with me...

Cut it shorter.. a lot shorter I'd say. It looks a lot cleaner, and just better I'd say. You don't have to necessarily shave it all off, but most of it. (Plus most girls aren't turned on by extremely long hair)

But if you absolutely want longer hair then that, then get it shaggy and layered.

But if you get a hairstyle like that, you'll need to get it trimmed regularly, to make sure it doesn't get too out of hand and scraggly.

get a buzz cut. like a 2 or a 3. no one will recognize you being all cleaned up. every time i buzz mine i use a 2 and i like the length of it

lol how can we tell you how to cut your hair if we don't know what you look like, silly?
and i think you should go for something drastic.
think SHORT!
but not too short. but short enough to the point where it looks scraggly. have them put layers in the top.
