Why would one believe that when there is no proof that it does. There are no emotions when one planet slams into another and ends all life [if any] there. There are no emotions when any planet tilts on it's axis and kills most all liveing things. [if any] It is proven it has occured many times on the earth.

For those of us who believe in God and Jesus, we are taught that we are made in Gods image, so if we have feelings, so does he because we are his image. Yes you could argue that god mad all the planets that you said are slaming into each other, but no one has ever said these planets are made in his image, we are.

I have no idea what you're talking about. The planet is always tilted on it's axis. Why do athiests have to spread negetivety? Would you rather someone believe in God if it kept them from commiting a murder or a suicide?

If you have been filled with the Holy Spirit, you would not question this. Joy unequaled to anything I have ever known all the way to such unbelievable sorrow when your heart breaks for whomever or whatever the Spirit of God is grieving over.

Peace be with you :)

Good point. Even arguing that we like to create images like ourselves or pleasing to ourselves, is a human emotion. If a creator exists, comparing him to us would be like comparing a room full of current day supercomputers to a pocket calculator.

If you create a God, you tend to think of Him in terms you can understand and so you assume that He has the same emotions that you would have.

Well, the only emotions I've read about are supposedly love, which He never seems to actualy act upon, and anger, which He acted on alot.

Jesus lived as a human and knows the emotions. That is why we should pray through him to God so Jesus understands us better emotionally.

I suppose from a Christian standpoint the bible states that people were modeled from God's own image.
