After all, if he's god couldn't he change the rules and maybe require Judas to die instead? If not, who made up all the rules god follows?

And who decided death was required anyway? God?

God is bored.

It's the only conclusion that can be logically made from all the convoluted theology.

God did make the "law," however he cannot change what he created. The main reason that he could not change the law is not because he does not have the power to do so but instead that his character would be questioned. God could not say something and demand something and then turn around and change the rule just because he did not like it. God is never changing, he is the same yesterday, today, and forever. If God were to go against his law then he would not be God.

and Judas, could not die for the sins of man because he was a sinful man himself. The thing that make Jesus' sacrifce important and valuable is that he was perfect never sinning. The sacrifice needed to be a blameless lamb.

In the end he knew what was reqired ,sacrifice is a selfless act ,to lay down your own life for another is the most sefless thing any human can do ,there are many stories of heroes in this day and age who have done this for the good of all.and as I have read some of the deciples did offer to take his place and he said to them "where I am going you cannot follow" he could have avioded it if he wanted to but ,if you read it was a chain of self created circumstance which led him to be crucified,he did not protest he did not get angry,he asked for our forgivness instead. love and light

Nobody will, not even a human being let alone God. He is the allknown, He should come up with something better than that. I know one day someone will come up with something logic. Congratulation. You deserve a star.

God made the laws as a stumbling block to those who attempted to gain salvation by works.
Romans 9
30 What then shall we say? That the Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, have obtained it, a righteousness that is by faith; 31 but Israel, who pursued a law of righteousness, has not attained it. 32 Why not? Because they pursued it not by faith but as if it were by works. They stumbled over the "stumbling stone." 33 As it is written:
"See, I lay in Zion a stone that causes men to stumble
and a rock that makes them fall,
and the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame."

Jesus is that stone.

God always fulfills His word. He is trustworthy in that way. That's something that you don't seem to understand. He owns everything. And He does with it as He wills.

God: There`s more to this creation/evolution thing then just what we know.God made mankind for his pleasure. It was interfered with and things changed. There`s a great universe out there and we are just a small part. The reason why God did what he did will remain a mystery that we can only guess at.One day we will understand.

Because we were never meant to die in the first place. We seek immortality (and good health!)

ok...God made up the "rule" for Jesus to be killed...

Jesus came to the earth to sacrifice Himself, God on earth, as a way to forgive all sins of the past, present, and future...

After Adam and Eve sinned, left the garden, they often sacrificed lambs to God for forgiveness...that's why Jesus is often refered to as the lamb...He sacrificed Himself for all mankind.

you're going round in circles

it was a stupid plan
but God did it
therefore it must be a brilliant plan!

but, let's face it, it was a stupid plan
but God did it!

...repeat forever
