Please don't answer with questions about your religious preference and if you do or don't believe in God. I do and I also believe in the devil. Lately my family has been acting really crazy. No one it talking to anyone in the house and its like a sense of anger in the house. I don't believe its in me because I have tried to resolve issues but every blue moon it gets like this. Me and my sister think my mom and dad has some demonic spirit near them. How can I help this? What scriptures can I read to make sure that this spirit goes away. Its making me wanna leave my family and not come back.

My grandmother taught me something years ago about how to keep peace in the house. She always had a Star of David hanging in her home somewhere. It keeps the house at peace. I have had one hung in my house for years also and my home always has peace, never conflict or hate.

It is times like this that your family might need you the most, so leaving isn't the answer. Is your family open to talking about what you might think it is? this might help, because then your family can unite to fight against this thing mentally. You can also make holy water and sprinkle it around the house while saying a prayer. I used to have one, I used it my self when I was going through a bad time with my second husband. You can probably find one on the net, making the holy water was part of it, it was rather simple, it had salt in it. Also some spirits never go away, but if it presents its self to you or anyone in your family you can tell it that you don't believe in it and that it should leave you alone. Some people say go to the light because they assume all spirits are lost ghost. But we also see demons, I just tell them to leave me alone. I also say prayers every night before I go to bed asking Jesus and God to send down angels to protect me and my children. Alot of times you don't need a prayer that is written by someone else, you can just say what you want to say in your own prayers. Sadly if it is a spirit that is starting to physically harm your family, you might want to bring in someone from the catholic faith because they believe in exorcisms, or a professional psychic. But if it isn't this bad you can do it your self through prayer. I wish you luck.

Yea this is a bit complicated as you don't want religious preference. Are you oppossed to burning some incense or sage in your home. Got some of moms Rosemary spice hanging around? Got some clean water that you can add salt to?

If it's that bad and just recently occurred I would look at the family members and make sure they are all o.k. spiritually.

I would bless myself with Psalm 91. And I would take salt water and bless every room in my house. I believe some people use olive oil and have success with that also.

According to several paranormal investigators, most "hauntings" are actually residual negitive energy. Try praying for peacefulness. There have also been studies that do show a correlation between elevated levels of violent crimes and a full moon. I'm a little lax on my scripture, but having a clergy person bless the house might help.

Well, I think blaming a demon is a little extreme, even for a hostile situation that comes out of no where. Try getting some water and asking God to make it holy, then sprinkling it around the house, focusing on the intention to drive evil from your house.
