What is your view on the situation? Like the fact that a large majority of our beloved military is Latino and Asian. Where do you think they came from? Where do you think you came from, there is no pure blood in this country, we all came from illegal migrants.. and if you thing other wise you are not to bright, any how like I was saying, no one really is truly a full blooded American, I love this country with all my heart, I am married to a US Navy man and I deal with a lot of stress every day, he is currently deployed and I am very proud to be a military wife!!! Nothing gives me greater joy then to know that I am safe with the brave men and woman who give their life’s each and every day for our freedom, but I will say that due to the fact everyone is making a big deal about the illegal immigrants sneaking into the country, many of the different nationalities in the US Military have family members that are here in our country illegally and are paying their dues by fighting for our freedom to give us all a better life here in AMERICA! So my question is how can you say they are American when their families are illegal?? I solute all who defend this country no matter what their nationality is! I see no difference between the people who came form illegal backgrounds to fight for a better life for us, and the people who come here illegally to provide a better life for their families!! So I guess what I am saying is maybe we should all think about where we came from! And where we are now!

Dude, I didn't come from Illegals. They took a boat from Europe in the early 1900's and landed in Ellis Island. Those folks came here LEGALLY with the papers to PROVE it. You must learn that misinformation is a dangerous thing.

There are Muslim communities all over the USA. They, too are interested in having peace and will wait until America self-destructs and turn it into a Muslim Nation. They will oppose the Mexicans for control of USA in the ultimate smackdown. Our military will stay tied up in Iraq & Afghanistan and won't be able to help.

I'm living in Utah now, and the list came out of one of the public services offices. You have to show identification of legal status to gain welfare type benefits. The state keeps count of whom is legal and whom is illegal. Of course the govt has lists of illegal aliens, that's how they know about how many millions are here. Someone just leaked part of a list.

The last time I checked the majority of the military are not Asian or Hispanic. Second that service member swears to protect this country from it's enemies both foreign and domestic. That includes illegal aliens. Last if the soldier is found to be harboring an illegal alien he or she just might find themselves out of the military. If you are a legal immigrant and service in the military it can speed up your citizenship and I think it is after six years you must become a citizen or you can't reenlist. I served in the military for my country not for thoses that break the laws to sneak into my country.

"we all came from illegal migrants"

Um, that's not true. There are plenty of people who came as legal immigrants. And the fact that people come in as legal immigrants all the time shows that it IS possible. It is unfair to the immigrants who come in legally, not to mention all the people who already live here that end up supporting illegal immigrants through taxes.

Also, people are coming into the country illegally and then saying they shouldn't be kicked out because the law isn't fair, but that's not how things work. Laws are laws. If and when the law gets changed, then people can come in whenever they want, but you can't break a law and then argue that the law wasn't fair in the first place.

Bleh. Rantish.

The immigrant that murdered eleven year old Zina served in the U.S. army. I don't care what the illegals do, they need to be deported. No, we did not all come from illegal migrants. Most Americans either came here as legal immigrants or are decendents of the pilgrims that came.

I have no problem with ANY race or varying culture of people in our armed services - they are more than likely LEGAL citizens.

One more time for you all taking notes at home: THIS IS NOT A RACE ISSUE, it is a matter of what is LEGAL and what is ILLEGAL.

And no, not all of us come from illegal immigrants. My family came here from Ireland 60 years ago and immediately got on the LEGAL path to citizenship - so why can't 20 million others?

I don't give a rat's backside where you are from - if you are here illegally and are making NO EFFORT to become legal, you are breaking US law and need to be shipped back to your native country. With you being a Navy wife (and I am the proud son of a Navy father) you should understand that this is about what is right, and what is right is NOT breaking US laws.

As a Navy wife what do you say to all of those illegals who run their mouths on US citizens, burn our nations flag, blatantly disrespect us all the while expecting a free ride or some kind of amnesty? If they hate America so much shouldn't they get the hell out?

And here come the pro-illegals with their thumbs down...and notice I didn't mention the "M" word once...

midcenturydesigner: thanks for your fight to keep this an issue of COLOR and not an issue of LEGALITY. unreal...what are you a top contributor of? convoluted ideologies?

I stopped reading your question/statement when you stated that we all came from illegal immigrants. Are you kidding me. My ancestors were slaves!!! Was it illegal to be taken by force from ones country & forced to be a slave? Obviously, you are not bright!!! By the way... My son is in Iraq as we speak. He should be here guarding our borders from these criminals that continuously cross illegally. Our economy has gone done substantially due to this problem of illegal immigration. No matter how you want to try to sugar coat the situation... Until you pro-illegals foot the bill for these criminals being here, don't say a word about us law abiding American taxpayers that are fed up & not willing to support these people any longer. In my opinion... Anyone who supports such criminals does not have America in his/her best interest!!! Deport all illegal aliens is what I say!!!

I think you have a misconception about who illegals are, the crimes they commit and what they want. They are not here for a better life but rather to populate the US to take over. These people are invading the US and are planning an uprising within the US because they have been taught a lot of propaganda in Mexico and they believed it.
