what im trying to say is can I put 2 DiMarzio Super Distortion pickups on my Dean Evo XM. And if I do, will the sound suffer, or will I get a lot of feedback, or something that could alter the tone?

The same P/U will sound different in the bridge or the neck position.
In general,it's best to have a cleaner sounding P/U in the neck position and a dirty sounding P/U in the bridge position.

Humbucking pickups will either have 2 or 4 wires (the bare wire does not count, that is the shield and is not actually connected to the inside of the pickup). I suggest you strip the insulation back a bit further until you find the 4th conductor. Each coil of the humbucker has two conductors. The red/white are a pair and the green/black are another pair. If you do not plan on doing any coil splitting, then you do not need the green and black wires, just the red and white ones.
