When I take pictures and download them from my camera they come out 'wallpaper' sized. How can I make them smaller, I don't have photoshop but would like to resize the photos so they are easily printable.

Copy + Paste them into Paint Pro.

Click "IMAGE", then click, "Sketch/Skew", you can resize them there!

You can also save them as any format you want, if your computer can handle it!

I have the same situation with my digital photos. The software I use is the KODAK Image maker that came with my camera. I try to simply resize the resolution on the original image so it can "fit" in a smaller size image.
When you upload onto your computer, the software should ask you for your desired resolution of your copied images.
I bet that there is a FREE software package somewhere that can help you with your issue.
I bet if you ask either KODAK, BEST BUY, or any Digital Imaging company (real sweetly) they will have what you need if this cannot help.
GOOD LUCK! :-)

Another freeware program you should consider is IrfanView, a very popular photo editor. Available from www.irfanview.com. It can resize the photos for you.

It depends on the photo program that your computer uses.
You can also upload them for free on www.ofoto.com and view them as a slide show and order prints too.
