how do i get over being so tall?

im just under 5'10 and a teen girl. i hate when people comment my height. even if its just joking. i HATE being so tall and being taller than all the guys. can anyone else relate ?

I can relate. I was always tall for my age. I hated it when people made comments about my height, it made me feel self-conscious. However, I knew I would be tall, both of my parents were tall. Well, I learned to accept being tall and now I revel in it and actually don't think I'm tall enough! Just learn to accept yourself for the beautiful individual that you are. Chances are that those who make comments are actually envious of you!

Embrace it. First of all the guys are going to grow. And models need to be tall so you can consider that as an option if you want to pursue it. Make a joke out of it yourself.Also there are many benefits to being tall (like sports and stuff and you probably have really long legs which people want)

I have the opposite problem, I'm only 4'9". I was picked on terribly growing up. I learned to laugh at myself and accept it. I've never been able to buy pants without having to cut off at least 8 inches. My nickname has been Squatty Body since I was 12 and now it's my license plate. I embrace it now. Some day you will, be patient.

Honey, I can relate. In junior high I was taller than everyone except one boy and the principal. In time I learned to accept it, and now I'm proud to be tall.

Please learn to accept yourself as you are. Height is just one of those things we can't do anything about.

What? You not too tall. I'm 6'0" - 6'1" and I have to say I seem pretty averaged height for a guy. and I love girls who are close to my height. It's much of bother if I constantly have to bend down for a girl 5'2" or 5'3". I have a friend whose like 6'2" - 6'3" now she has it bad.
