Being that I am one deeply interested in religion, I belive I have found the meaning behind this brain teasing statement. To become one with a pure heart an to awaken the dormant spirit within me I must spiritually cleanse myself by spending alot of time in the meditative state of deep meditation and in time I will reach a stage of meditation known as Nirvana or Enlightenment. Nirvana is a blessed state of being in wich one's spirit is awoken and I belive a person is reborn as Jesus speaks about in the book of John chapter 3. What I want to know is just how long must I remain in meditation before I attain Nirvana?

It takes a few lifetimes according to the Buddhist's. Also, although I appreciate the description of Nirvana, I didn't find it necessary.

I think the *actual* meaning behind this brain-teasing statement is that it takes a while to digest those fortune cookies.

Oh, and the Nirvana thing? Good luck with that. I suspect you'll need it.

Until you get another fortune cookie that tells you your journey is over but seriously I have actually gotten a fortune cookie that advised my journey was over.

My favorite fortune cookie said, "If you are still hungry, eat another cookie".

Nirvana...I don't think there is a timeline for that.
