Sure it is not the worst network out there. But Public Television has several times broadcasted controversal programs to attemt to destroy Christianity. We should save and move Mr Rodgers, Sesame Street, Barney and good childrens programs to regular television and stop funding money to what is like an evil televangeist program of people who make little kids cry by telling them they will take Sesame Street of air if they do not send in thier pledge. So does PBS stand for Public Broadcasting of Satan, or Public Braodcasting of Bull Sniekies? Either one fits the bill. Teletubbies should be be banned forever. It puts children 2-4 years behind in thier speech and learning. This is really bad! Who will be the heros of tommorrow? Send in your pledge by not sending any more pledges to PBS! I refuse to send a penny to those traitors. Save television from public television. (PBS)

PBS gets more $$$ from the government to run and grants from big corporations and then make us feel guilty by asking for even more $$$ on top of it.. you are abosutely correct.. I watch PBS for concerts and musicals, stuff like that, and they interrupt every 30 mins to beg for cash or we wont be able to bring you these shows.. BIG LIES... its very maddening.. there are some kids shows that have left PBS and are doing better. eg. Liberty's Kids, the Magic Schoolbus etc..

Shows get cancelled on all networks, it has to do with low ratings, yet PBS makes you feel its your fault if a show is gone..

3 cheers for Mitt! Time to place vast chook and the different welfare bums on that channel to sleep. PBS would have some respectable exhibits, yet whilst it could no longer run a earnings it alerts the known public are not fascinated.

so you don't mind if children are bombarded with even MORE commericals? that is what they get on the commerical networks- seasame street with tons of ADS during it? where do you think commerical tv gets their money? from COMMERICALS! or would YOU personaly Fund the shows for kids? BTW Mr Rogers is DEAD so his Estate is in charge of his shows would mr rogers like COMMERICALS duing his show?
- there would never have been a mister rogers or seasme street Without PBS- commerical tv is NOT interested in the educationof children- they are in the Business of Making $$$ OFF you and kids

I don't have cable so sometimes the only good thing on is on PBS --- like Nova or Frontline or Soundstage -- they even show Monty Python on Saturday nights --- which is way better then Saturday night live -- so I guess I would disagree with the statement ---- we rid ourselves of PBS and destroy Public Television

Jeez, you conservatives need lobotomies. Everything is "destroying christianity". Good, I hope it does. I hate having religion shoved down my throat. I'm sorry, but PBS has to be the only television programming that is as close to your Christian values as it gets, unless you watch that Christian network where that nun who wears the huge glasses is spouting off her gospel.
