When I boot up my PC (XP-OS), my document folder opens twice for no reason. It's not in the start up folder. Does anyone know how this happened, or how can I stop this?

Get the free program autoruns from microsoft. It shows you everything that starts up when windows starts(even if it's not in the startup folder). You'll have the option to delete startup entries.

Go to the bottom of the page and click the download link

On your C drive, go to the All Users folder, click on Start Menu, and look in the startup folder and see if there is a link to the "my documents" folder there

This may sound silly, but the first thing I'd try would be to run my security software. (Anti virus, spyware, etc.)
