This is what Jesus said “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.” Mark 1:15
You have to repent!
Without repentance of sin you will not be saved.

He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy. Proverbs 28:13

Jesus is the one who said repent and believe.

If you only believe and not repent you have a demon faith.
You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! James 2:19

When I become engaged, does that mean I can attend my own wedding in my pajamas? Or if I am invited to a formal wedding as a guest of honor, do I come dressed in casual shirt and jean skirt? No, common sense tells me I have to wear the proper, appropriate attire for the occasion.

And getting invited to Heavan is a big deal! In fact, it is the ultimate invitation everyone should get! And the only way to get invited AND ENTER into God's big wedding feast, whether the Bride or a guest of honor, one must be saved (repented and baptized in the Name of Jesus) AND one must have the proper wedding attire, RIGHTEOUSNESS of Jesus imputed upon our spirit, for we alone in our flesh are not righteous. How to have imputed righteousness? - REPENT and BE BAPTIZED in the Name of Jesus, and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost for sanctification and holiness. We must repent daily to strive holiness and keep righteousness imputed. Otherwise, we will be turned away at the gates of the wedding reception, unable to enter, ever, because we didn't bother to impute the proper wedding attire onto our unrighteous selves.

And to request the wedding attire is free of charge. The only "cost" is for the flesh to surrender its sins upon the Cross.

Great question as usual . God Bless you!

Yes and no.

Believe, the word has changed over the centuries to what is now a host of different meanings and classifications. But believing, belief, believe is to wholly cast one's self on the thing one is trusting, it is to put ones whole weight on, not doubting, or having doubts that it will do what it is believed to do or accomplish. Believing in is to say I place all my hopes, desires, wants and will on what I am believing in so as to allow no other second chance. Faith generates action, action follows believing that the what is going to take place will take place, that is it allows no measure of chance, no place for thinkink of a better way, but this is the only way. Therefore when we believe we will do all that is required to accomplish the end goal.

Believing will thus make one to accomplish all the other things that are required; such as faith, repentance, confession, baptism, walking and and being obedient to the things therein. Leaving any of these out and the system fails to produced the end result - in this case our salvation in Christ and life in His Name.

Because ppl only read what they want to read without hearing the full message. Jesus also says we must love Him and if we love Him, we will obey Him. We are told to believe, but way more, even the devil believs and he wont be saved WE must know the Lord and Love Him, confess our sins, confess Him as Lord and savior, repent of ours sins and do them no more and live like JEsus and live for Jesus.
Believing is not enough, thats only false lip service to the Lrod and remember He knows the heart To have the heart of God and live in the supernatural spiritual realm, we must know and obey the Lord in all things, and we can do that by being born again and allowing the indwelling of the Holy Spirit to take over and lead us and guide us and jsut doing what we are told and shown by the Lord. Not even hard to do, once you surrender you will to the Lord and desire only His will, then you have HIs desres and no desire for sin. God is a good God. amen

Repentance, that deep sorrow for sin is crucial to salvation.

With our lips we make that confession
In our hearts hold to one truth alone
That Jesus has our erased our transgression
Named us and called us His own, His very own

We are the people of God
Called by His Name
Called from the dark and delivered from shame
One Holy race
Saints everyone
Because of the blood of Christ Jesus the Son.

there isn't any way the Bible teaches as quickly as saved continuously saved even nevertheless the Bible has been misused to show it. the folk who attempt to tension out the as quickly as saved continuously saved coaching do it by making use of: (a million) reasoning from the organic to the religious (it is fallacious), (2) by making use of assuming the Bible teaches it then seeing it implied whilst it is not there (mutually with with a believer being "glorified," as pronounced in Rom. 8:30), yet exceptionally with (3) ignoring the context of the Scripture. a primary occasion of the latter is ignoring John 10:27 whilst John 10:28 is below dialogue. V. 27 shows the techniques-blowing promise of not perishing and being plucked out of God's hand in ordinary terms applies to those that "stick to" Jesus. The Greek demanding for "stick to" there shows it relatively is a non-cease demanding. subsequently, the rest room 10:28 promise does not enable for backsliders who return to sin, besides the shown fact that it is persistently pronounced that way by making use of the eternal protection instructors! don't be deceived. The Bible does not coach everywhere the doctrine of as quickly as saved continuously saved. finished books have been written proving this component and can't be rehashed right here. Professing Christians, who have faith in as quickly as saved continuously saved, are actually not sufficiently guarded to proceed to stick to Jesus to the top to be saved, which Jesus made a salvation difficulty (Mt. 10:22).

Cuz. It doesn't matter how many people you help, whether or not you cure cancer or AIDS, if you don't believe, God won't save you.

You have to ask God to save you, and forgive you of your sins.
The reason you have to ask Him to forgive your sins is because ages and ages ago Eve commited the first sin, and thus everyone after was born with a sin nature.

Being baptized in the 'blood' of Christ purifies you spiritually of your sin and sin nature, and you are born again in Christ.

Badda-bing! You are saved. Congrats. You might get a certificate too. OOOHH! I so gelous!

Everybody nowadays picks and chooses ,what part of the bible they want to believe in,it is like getting God in line with their religion, instead of getting in line with the will of God.

yeah
you must understand, that when a lot of people say "all you have to do is believe" they usually are sorely lacking the depth of comprehension as to what the word "believe" entails as regards faith in the son of God.

Consider these two scriptures:

Romans 10:11 For the Scripture says: “None that rests his faith on him will be disappointed.” 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for there is the same Lord over all, who is rich to all those calling upon him. 13 For “everyone who calls on the name of Jehovah will be saved.” 14 However, how will they call on him in whom they have not put faith? How, in turn, will they put faith in him of whom they have not heard? How, in turn, will they hear without someone to preach? 15 How, in turn, will they preach unless they have been sent forth? Just as it is written: “How comely are the feet of those who declare good news of good things!”

And:

James 2:14 Of what benefit is it, my brothers, if a certain one says he has faith but he does not have works? That faith cannot save him, can it? 15 If a brother or a sister is in a naked state and lacking the food sufficient for the day, 16 yet a certain one of YOU says to them: “Go in peace, keep warm and well fed,” but YOU do not give them the necessities for [their] body, of what benefit is it? 17 Thus, too, faith, if it does not have works, is dead in itself.

18 Nevertheless, a certain one will say: “You have faith, and I have works. Show me your faith apart from the works, and I shall show you my faith by my works.” 19 You believe there is one God, do you? You are doing quite well. And yet the demons believe and shudder. 20 But do you care to know, O empty man, that faith apart from works is inactive? 21 Was not Abraham our father declared righteous by works after he had offered up Isaac his son upon the altar? 22 You behold that [his] faith worked along with his works and by [his] works [his] faith was perfected, 23 and the scripture was fulfilled which says: “Abraham put faith in Jehovah, and it was counted to him as righteousness,” and he came to be called “Jehovah’s friend.”

24 YOU see that a man is to be declared righteous by works, and not by faith alone. 25 In the same manner was not also Ra´hab the harlot declared righteous by works, after she had received the messengers hospitably and sent them out by another way? 26 Indeed, as the body without spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead.
