"Blessed children, though you wander love and depraved. Jesus loves you, you shall be saved..."

See, I think if we, Christians, of all faiths start saying that instead of condemning non-believers, they would be more open to the church. Not nesscessarily accepting of the church and what we believe, but they wouldn't really have the stereotype of Christians constantly damning them to Hell and judging them...right?

Shouldn't we do what Jesus said and spread the good word, but not in a forceful way? I think this would be a good way. Make it like a national saying...like Mormons have "choose the right" and stuff like that...(I am not sure of other sayings, I only know that cause my friend says it all the time.)

This could be like in the late 90's...the W.W.J.D bracelets and stuff...everyone knew that saying and knew about the saying. But instead of just asking "What would Jesus do?" we would be spreading His word in a peaceful, not forcing way...

EFFETTOLL,

I am religious, I do not want us to be in WWIII....I just turned 18, I'm eligable for the draft!!!!!!!

But, if this happens to be the final war(Armageddon) it will happen, whether we force it to or not...

That was supposed to be LOST and depraved...sorry. Listening to the song you'll know that right after that, there is a mother talking about her son...I guess it just kind of leaked itself into my typing.

Also that was supposed to be a comma(not that great at typing on my laptop).

angelkisses, thanks for your answer, but did I say I damn people to Hell? No, I said maybe if we start preaching what Jesus did, love, peace, and salvation. Instead of using "you're going to Hell", as most atheists believe ALL Christians say, as an argument. Maybe they wont see us as being so negative and wont think we're "forcing" our religion on them.

There is nothing that can stand the test of time like the Word of God.

Some people come off as "religious nuts."

It's one thing to know what you're talking about (being Bible-literate) and using that knowledge to help others understand.

It's quite another to confront someone and tell them "you're going to Hell if you don't believe!"

Sheesh, anyone who's actually READ the Bible knows that we don't control what people believe -- God opens their eyes when HE is ready, and then it becomes that person's choice.

There's a right way and a wrong way for everything.

"Blessed children, though you wander love and depraved. Jesus loves you, you shall be saved"

Flawed isn't it? 'Yee shall be saved when you open your heart and life un to him, and request that Jesus enter your life to become saved'. To be saved you would need to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior. Just being out wandering don't make for the ability to be saved does it?

Since when do "Christian's" have the ability to damn someone to hell? Let alone those that don't believe in such a farce?

Brightest of blessings finding what it is that you are looking for ... even when you are "damning them to hell" *rolling my eyes*

I agree. I'm not Christian, but I do believe that any religion that aggressively recruits or condemns because I giant turn off. I also think that if religions just listened to what they preached less people would be so skeptical.

You have only part of it right. I would have left the religious alone to believe what they pleased.
However the religions have tried to take over the world again and are heavily involved in driving us into WWIII. Enough is enough. You wanted a fight and now you have one!

It might be more inspiring if it could be understood. The phrase "though you wander love and depraved." doesn't make any sense, especially with a period at the end.
