i'm naturally a red head, but i wanted to dye my hair brunette about a week ago. i'm reconsidering again. i'm tired of ppl calling me carrot top! grrr!!!!!

It depends some people with red hair look beautiful exspecially women.. it can be a rare things exspecially since ur a natural. Have you ever considered just getting high lights like maybe even blond or darker low lights in your hair... So your weren't 100% red head but still have ur natural red in it. I would recomend you going to a professional for any type of hair coloring. But if you really just want to cover it all up its ur choice I think brown hair is nice also.. I just think it would be a lot of upkeep and if you wanted ur natural color back I think it would be hard to find the exact shade and be able to die it back. Well good like to you in whatever you do. Dont let people bother you by calling you carrot top because I'm sure you have or will run into people who will think your red hair makes u a bombshell.

I'm a red head to, and I always want to dye my hair brunette but when I think about it I'm proud to be a red head, not much people have red hair so I would say stick with the red hair, and if people call you carrot top try to find something about them to say.

Look from a mans perspective I would say stay red. There are very few attractive red headed girls. It is an odd thing to see these days. It seems like every girl out there is a blond or brunette, Yet you don't see many red or black haired women that are white. I think it's kinda sexy and different and I like it.

If you dye it brunette your red tones are going to come out anyway.
If your hair is like strawberry blonde just take it a few tones darker, but keep it red. Red is really hot; it just depends on the shade. Besides what about your eyebrows and everything else?

You can dye it a darker red, so its vibrant and not lighter, I personally have really dark red hair and Im constantly getting compliments, cause it shows confidence to dye your hair a colour that many ppl wouldnt go.
Or, if you dont want to stand out, Brown is also good, a nice chocolate brown, cuz unlike red, when it fades it'll just fade to a lighter red.
Depending on where you live, if in Melbourne, Red Night by Schwarskoft is really good, from any supermarket!

mmmm redheads mmmm sorry drifted off for a second, keep your natural red hair sweetheart trust me redheads are simply gorgeous, i have shaved my head most of my life and always had people calling me baldy of some other stupid name like that but by the time i was 19 and had been in the army for 2 years people never once said anything about my short hair i prefer redheads always have and always will and why would you want to cover up the most awesome hair color in the world
