In addition to mentioning these giant reptiles in general nearly thirty times throughout the Old Testament, the Bible describes a couple of creatures in such a way that some scholars believe the writers may have been describing dinosaurs. Behemoth is said to be the mightiest of all God’s creatures, a giant whose tail is likened to a cedar tree (Job 40:15ff). Some scholars have tried to identify Behemoth as either an elephant or a hippopotamus. Others point out that elephants and hippopotamuses have very thin tails, nothing comparable to a cedar tree. Dinosaurs like the Brachiosaurus and the Diplodocus on the other had huge tails which one could easily compare to a cedar tree.
In addition to the substantial amount of anthropic and historical evidences for the coexistence of dinosaur and man, there are other physical evidences, like the fossilized footprints of humans and dinosaurs found together at places in North America and West-Central Asia.

An interesting supposition.
First, it is not "a very clear dinosaur". Indeed, I think you'll agree that if someone who was ignorant of dinosaurs were to draw a picture based on this description, it would look nothing like any dinosaur. Go ahead - if you know a young child, read the passage to them and ask them to draw a picture of what they think it looks like.
I noticed some answers, one in particular, mentioned that Behemoth's tail was "compared to a cedar". Although true, verse 17 says "He bends his tail like a cedar", not "his tail was as big as a cedar". (Translation: New Ameican Standard, considered the most literal.) This answerer was definitely shooting for a misleading understanding.
But let's skip all the nonsense and state what we know.
1) The bible in *many* places mentions species and objects (esp. gems), the exact classification of which biblical scholars cannot be certain. Indeed, they cannot even be certain if they are living or extinct species. These verses in Job come under this category. Clearly these verses refer to some type of herbivore, but we cannot even state with certainty if it refers to a mammal or some other creature.
2) Scientists cannot state with *certainty* that all dinosaurs were extinct at the time that Job was written. In fact, we cannot state with certainty that all dinosaurs are extinct *now*. Consider the thousands of migrating animals discovered recently by scientists in Ethiopia - including herds of elephants. The entire population was previously unknown to scientists. Certainly, a population of dinosaurs (of one sort or another) may certainly have existed when Job was written. But the bible *does not say* or even imply strongly that this was a dinosaur. We can *only* guess at the variety of animal this was. (My guess: an elephant, by equating tusks with tubes of bronze - but I'm just guessing. Notice that they are hollow: http://www.all-creatures.org/anex/elephant.html. Also notice the mention of his nose in v 24.)
3) Let's assume for a moment that it *is* a species of dinosaur, probably at least as large as an ox (considering the description). Many answerers made the ridiculous assumption that Noah would have had to carry all of the species of dinosaur that had ever existed on his ark. Not only is this reasoning plainly faulty, we could hypothesize that, if this were a species of dinosaur, that *only* this species of dinosaur was extant in Noah's time, and that he transported only two infant specimens. Certainly, there is no reason to believe that he had to have an ark full of every Jurassic species known to man!
In conclusion - there is no way of determining with *any* certainty what species of animal is being described in Job 40:15-24. It is certainly not proof of mention of dinosaurs in the bible. Nor can the existence of dinosaurs in scripture be disproven. We simply don't know. What's more, it's really not important. The bible *clearly* does not mention every species of animal that ever existed, nor does it attempt such a thing. If we believe that God created them all, that is sufficient.

I'm sorry, I'm not buying it. IF the passage was describing a dinosaur and IF Noah's ark were real it would mean that there would have had to be two creatures with cedar size tails PLUS all of the other dinosaurs PLUS all of the animals we know today. All that assumes that the passage is even interpreted correctly. It's possible that the description is based on skeletal remains of dinosaurs.

You must be mentioning the Leviathan and I am pretty sure the Leviathan is the Dinosaur.
Also the Chinese insist that Fire breating Dragons were real at one time and the Bible speaks of those too (and the Chinese images of such do look very much like Dinosaurs big time).
