keep it. lets face it. lots of people would say it's there's when it's not. however, if while in line, someone in front of me said, oh my, i lost $50, i'd probably give it to them.

I woudl turn it into the person at the front (the teller, cashier). I have found just a few dollars before and turned it in- I would never want to keep money that wasn't mine. What if I had lost the 50 I would want someone to turn it in? Finders Keepers is only valid if you are in Kindergarten.

Pick it up & hide it. Then ask if anyone dropped a bill. If someone said 'yes', ask what bill denomination it was. No correct answer, it's yours and with a clear conscience.
Found $ of that size of larger - - take to bank & do a CD or something positive (it was a growth $).

I honestly would have to draw attention to the money and as tempting as it would be, I would not pick it up. I would let someone else have the pleasure of feeling guilty about claiming money that doesn't belong to them.

Keep it - pretend you dropped it when picking it up.
