Good list Afro! I have a coupla changes though. I have Arguello over Chavez. Mugabi over Hearns.(I hate to shut Tommy out, but he was great in 3 weight classes, but not the best in any). I can rate Carlos Monzon at no less than a tie with Hagler. Holyfield takes Lt. Heavy AND cruiserweight (Spinks saw Holyfield coming and scrammed out of the division!) I am also going to tie Ali with his old sparring partner Larry Holmes - that fight is too tough for me to call like Monzon/Hagler.

Cant add much more to your list, you pretty much nailed it as far as i can see. You should pose the question again for all time, that would be interesting, Willie Pep, Henry Armstrong and Sugar Ray Robinson may even find it tough to be placed ahead of what you already have.

It is a good list, especially since you did not over look Zarate, as many do, but I need to add the real Sugar Ray, Robinson that is, and either Archie Moore or Bob Foster. But all in all it is a good list.

Good choices but you forgot the greatest pound for pound of all time, Sugar Ray Robinson. He was the best at welterweight and middleweight.

I think you should go back before 1970, for example Sugar Ray Robinson and Joe Louis.

Some might differ, but not a bad pick in the bunch. I'd say you know boxing.
