In OCONUS you cannot keep a nanny in housing. Unless like someone earlier said you were both dual military or a single parent. That's part of the reason I live off post. They are a little bit more lenient with the rules. You would be able to get her an ID card with limited access to the base.

I wasn't sure about this so I pulled out my Military housing rules ad guidlines and looked it up. NO, militay personnel are not allowed to have live-in nannies. the only poeple allowed in military housing are the service member and his dependants. So no you can't go. If they get caught with you living in thier military house they will lose thier hosuing privileges and be required to vacate military housing within 30 days and move off-base. This is from the guidelines and rules for military housing.

Not sure of all the details but in 1975 3 of us drove to England (we crossed from Belgium) to visit my friends aunt and uncle. 4 came back. One guy was a single Dad and found a Brit girl willing to come back to Germany. The housing he was in was off base though. At that time the Base was closed because of the stored nukes. I don't recall her ever coming on Fleigerhorst. My point is that depending on the base there could be an issue depending on your background.
Good Luck

The only people allowed to live in government quarters are the service memeber and his dependents. If they will be living off base they can house anybody they like. The military will only ship the belongings of the service member and his family members, but how are they to tell what is yours and what is not. They only exception to the live in caretaker regulation would be for medical care.

i became there in ninety 3 and there became the Air rigidity and army at Tinker AFB. It relies upon. i became in the army and that they purely allowed married on base. the regulations replace constantly in the protection rigidity so what became authentic sometime won't be the next day. on the grounds that there is many times a scarcity of base housing, i'd guess which you nonetheless could be married. additionally, you may could wait a protracted time to get that housing when you marry. the protection rigidity has a topic with human beings getting married with a view to receive the perks. One rationalization for best divorce cost in protection rigidity. there are various different motives for that best cost. bear in innovations that! additionally, circulate your self on each and every occasion available. stable success and shelter him.

no. only authorized family members are allowed to stay in Military Family Housing. the only way they MIGHT consider a waiver is if you were OCONUS and they were dual military as part of the Required Family Care Plan.
if she wants to keep you, she will have to live off base.
