I can think of nothing creepier than this -- yet you believers claim that you want this, you need this, you would die of loneliness if you didn't have this.

For pity's sake -- why?

I don't know.
I'll go ask all the geniuses in this country who don't have a problem with warrantless wiretaps. I'm sure they'll know. Personally I think 80% of Americans like the idea of someone spying on them.
Perverts.

It isn't a matter of wanting or not wanting another being to know your every thought. It is just a truth presented in the Bible. It's like gravity, it exists and you can't see it and you accept it whether you like it or not.

Personally I'm glad to know that God knows my every thought but only because I also know that He loves me and that He sent Jesus to pay my entire sin debt, past, present and future. That way when my thoughts go in a direction that isn't good I have an added incentive to turn them to something else. When you have a great and gracious Father who wants what is best for you and who knows everything anyway, it's no big deal to realize that He also knows what you are thinking.

Now if I was living my old sinful lifestyle where I had things to hide then I wouldn't feel comfortable about God knowing my thoughts. Especially with the realization that He was going to judge me one day for everything I thought or said or did or didn't do that I should have. Without the covering of Jesus over my life I would be a nervous wreak.

Well,
It's obvious you have not accepted, we are created a little lower than angels.

It's obvious, you haven't read the Bible.

Your confidence, security, and assurance of everlasting life would increase if you would.

But, that'll never happen. Why? Well, look at the spirit of independence you displayed in your question. Like the spiritual creatures and God are infringing on your privacy.

Eve grew that spirit of independance, Satan cultivated it and tempted it, and we know the rest of the story

I really like how some "people" automatically assume "you've never read the Bible". Most of the atheists and agnostics on here HAVE read the Bible, that's what made them run from Chrisitanity like their hair was on fire.

He already knows my every thought before I think it, so it doesn't feel like spying to me.
