No white, thats for the bride. Wear any other color you want. Black is okay but not the best choice. Unless its a Goth wedding.
Have fun!!

proper etiquette is that evening weddings are more formal then day time weddings but sometimes people dont realize this or the couple just might not care you dont want to over dress or under dress so find a happy medium..because some people show up more dressed up then the bridal party..and that sucks
you could totally do a little black dress..but maybe spring for something fun with a brighter color or pattern because it is summer but almost anything will work
i wouldnt do white....it may upset the bride..and dont do anything to revealing its a wedding..not a cocktail party
for teens pretty much the same thing..or even a skirt and a cute cami..dressy bermuda shorts....

Only the bride should wear white and NO black at a wedding.
You should wear a cocktail length dress (just to the top of the knee) and in a soft color or print. No strapless top or bust exposure. The center of attention is supposed to be the bridge only!
A good suggestion is one of the scarf dresses in a soft pastel

Never wear white to a wedding.
I would go w/ a black cocktail dress since it's starting so late in the evening. That would be a formal wedding and black is very expect able.

if it's outside and hot...something summery...
if it's indoors and cool, something classic.
I'd stick to a color you like. (not white OR black) white is for the bride and black is for slimming you down or a formal affair.
Wear a nice sun dress and a summer hat...
wear a nice long skirt and summer blouse...
(wear shoes...not sandals)

Depending on your location, wear something dressy casual. Maybe something pastel and summery.
I never advise anyone to wear black to a wedding ... as I think it is tacky.
Please don't wear white - it is the brides day to stand out.

Black is always in style. Be careful with white-- at least add a few colorful accessories.
