A couple of my friends that are in there 30's are thinking about going back to college to get there bachelors degree. They are thinking about going to college full time. While they would be going to college full time they wouldn't be working at a job. If they where to apply for a job at a new company would there new employer would question them about not having a job while attending college full time?

Yes, they would probably question them but the answer would probably be acceptable and not cause any problems. Why won't they be working while going to college? I worked full time and then went to college full time at night. Worked out great for me!

No. The lack of a job during the college years would only reflect as less years of work experience, and that would have but a minimal effect, since they now have college degrees.

I sure wouldn't. I probably recommended 3 engineers a year under identical circumstances. My boss didn't always agree but normally she did.

Personally I like some one that does what you have described. They have pre-college work experience, they serve only one master in school and they aren't fooling around for 10 years getting a degree.

If they did question it, the explanation that they went to school full time during the gap in the resume would suffice nicely.

They will put the dates that they attended college on their resume so it's likely that it won't be questioned other than to confirm that they went to school full time and didn't work during that time.

Not if they told the employer they were at school full time.

Most employers will look favorably on persons seeking more education. Better work on your writing skills, though!

Lots of people don't work while they study, it means they can concentrate on their studies better.
