Why won't Great Expectations allow me to talk to their members?

I went to Great Expectations for an interview, the interviewer was sincere and told me great stories about how great the service is. I'm 26 years old and she was surprised I never been in a relationship since I am good looking. Anyways I said I can speak with some members my age to see how they like? She said well we keep our member's info private, I said thats ok, she said well they only want to meet matches...I said yes but they have experience too from using the service. She said she would ask the Director and she ever had a question like that brought up in 4 years? Wasn't I in the right to see what other members thought and if they are in my age range?
