open a box of baking soda and leave it in there
cut an onion in 1/2 and put it on the shelf

both will soak up the smells...

don't bother with the baking soda made just for the fridge, they are more expensive and the regular stuff works just as well.

Might try using a paste made of baking soda and water. And in the future, an open box of baking soda left in the fridge/freezer will absorb odors and keep the place from smelling funky. They mak special boxes with vents in the side just for this purpose.

Try washing the inside of fridg and freezer. Then keep a box of baking soda in there all the time. That helps stop odors.

I would not just leave a box of baking soda (not powder) in there and wait for the magic. I would mix the soda with water and wipe it out as well. That is how I always clean my fridge, I never use any cleaners except maybe a little soapy water.

Good luck.

I have found using vanilla essence a good remedy. Simply clean your fridge, then dilute the vanilla in some water, grab your dish cloth and work your way with the vanilla wash all through the inside and leave the fridge door open for a day or two, if that doesn't work, try vinegar diluted in water, cheers.

go to the store and get the boxes of soda for your fridge and freezer. ( in the baking isle, but they have mesh sides for the air to circulate)
or...if you have some charcoal use that. Keep a couple of pieces in a bowl...
