1. Islam advocates the holiness of Jesus peace be upon him. As a matter of fact, it is an essential part of the Islamic teaching to revere Jesus and to believe in his holiness, and that he lived in this world as a pure person free of any sin. From the Holy Qur'an:

"When the angels said: 'O Mary! Surely God gives thee good news of a word from Him whose name is the Messiah, Jesus, Son of Mary, worthy of regard in this world and the hereafter, and of those who are highly accepted by God.' " Quran 3:45

2. Islam declares the holiness of Mary, the mother of Jesus. No Muslim can doubt the decency and purity of Mary. She, according to the Qur'an, had been the most noble among the women of the nations:

"And when the angels said: 'O Mary! Certainly God has chosen thee and made thee pure and has preferred thee above the women of all nations. 'O Mary! Be obedient to thy Lord, prostrate thyself and bow with those who bow (in worship).'" Quran 3:42-43

3. Islam declares that Jesus was miraculously born from a virgin mother with no father. From the Holy Qur'an:

"And mention Mary in the book. When she withdrew to a place east of her family. She screened herself from them; then We sent to her Our angel, and he appeared to her as a man in all respects. She said: 'I seek refuge in God against you if you are righteous.' He said: 'I am only a Messenger of Thy Lord to grant to you a pure boy.' She said: 'How can I have a son, and no mortal has yet touched me, nor have I been unchaste?' He said: 'So (it will be). Thy Lord says: "It is easy for Me; and that We may make him a sign to men and a mercy from Us. And it is a matter decreed. Then she conceived him; and withdrew with him to a remote place. And the throes of childbirth drove her to the trunk of the palm-tree. She said: 'Oh, would that I had died before this, and had been a thing quite forgotten. So a voice came to her from beneath her: 'Grieve not, surely thy Lord has provided a stream beneath thee. And shake towards thee the trunk of the palm-tree, it will drop on thee fresh ripe dates. So eat and drink and be pleased. Then if thou seest any human, say: "Surely I have vowed a fasting for the sake of the Beneficent, so I will not speak to any human today." Quran 19:16-26

4. The Qur'an attributes to Jesus many of the miracles which are mentioned in the Gospel. According to the Holy Qur'an, Jesus was empowered by God to cure the sick, revive the dead, and make the blind see:

"... and He (God) will make him (Jesus) a messenger to the children of Israel (saying): 'I have come to you with a sign from your Lord that I fashion for you, out of clay, the likeness of a bird, and I breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by permission of God. I heal him who was born blind, and the leper, and I raise the dead by permission of God. And I announce unto you what ye eat and what ye store in your houses. 'Lo! Herein verily is a sign for you, if ye are to be believers.' " Quran 3:49

In addition to this, the Holy Qur'an ascribes to Jesus a miracle that is not recorded in the gospels: Jesus spoke clearly while he was in the cradle:

"Then she came to her people with him, carrying him. They said: 'O Mary, thou hast indeed brought a strange thing. O sister of Aaron, thy father was not a wicked man, nor was thy mother an unchaste woman.' But she pointed to him. They said: 'How should we speak to a one who is a child in the cradle?' He said: 'I am indeed a servant of God. He has given me the Book and made me a prophet; and He has made me blessed wherever I may be, and He has enjoined on me prayer and purity so long as I live. And to be kind to my mother; and He has not made me insolent, un-blessed. And Peace be on me the day I was born, and the day I die, and the day I am raised to life (in the Hereafter).' " Quran 19:27-33

From this point of view you just read, as a christian, do you feel Muslims ought to be considered pro-Jesus, as well as the Christians themselves?

Today all good things have been made lawful for you. And the food of those given the Book is also lawful for you and your food is lawful for them. So are chaste women from among the believers and chaste women of those given the Book before you, once you have given them their dowries in marriage, not in fornication or taking them as lovers. But as for anyone who disbelieve, his actions will come to nothing and in the hereafter he will be among the losers. (Surat al-Mai'da: 5)

Muslims have another Jesus. Go by the bible, not the quran. Jesus died on a cross and rose from the dead and is alive forevermore. He is the way to eternal life. Do you believe He is the Son of God? If not, youre wasting all your time and being ridiculous to say you respect Jesus. Jesus said that if you love Him you will keep His commandments. He also said that if you believe in Him (which includes what He said about salvation and being the Son of God) then you will have eternal life. He also said you need to follow Him and abide in Him.....not in any other. So you see you have not convinced Christians of anything, in fact, we are well aware what the quran says about Jesus but the quran is not a book of truth from a real prophet so it means nothing to us. There is only a false respect for all the prophets in the bible because you dont accept their words or writings as the truth.

I think we have many things in common. I also we have some strong differences. Just as both groups have with Judaism. One of the things that seperate Muslims and Christians is the idea of Jesus being a part of a trinity. ( if any one is interested I would love to try to explain this concept with them< I believe if Muslims understood our concept of a trinity we might find ourselves even closer.) You will notice I did not mention conversion just understanding. I think all three groups could gain a lot from each other.

Muslim accepts Jesus just like another prophet, so of course they are pro-Jesus.

But because they just accepted Him as a prophet, they have a hard time understanding that He is really God in the flesh form.

God is almighty and really can become a human and sacrifice Himself to be the one Savior that everyone need.

These concepts of Jesus as God, as Son of God, Jesus died and resurrected and many more that don't approve what Koran said, totally rejected by Muslims.

I believe they are anti-gospel which certainly is not pro-Jesus. For if this is all true why do you reject the words his disciples have written and that which was prophesied of Him.

John 10:30 I and the Father are one.

Isaiah 9:6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Yeah you may seem to say that you believe in Christ, and all this that you have stated, Yet there are three things you are ignoring. These three things are of priority and the differences between Christianity and Islamic faith

1. Jesus is Yahweh, He was never created, He is eternal, all the attributes of God are given to Him. Sorry Allah is not God even though the word "Allah" may mean God He is not the one True God.

2. Jesus' Holiness and righteousness is His Nature and it never was imputed to Him, He was conceived by the Holy Spirit.

3. Unless Jesus is YHWH, then He can not bring in everlasting righteousness, and he can not be the Savior that was sent by God.

4. Mary, if she had any holiness it was imparted to her by faith, and that faith that she believed in Christ for her salvation which she acknowledged that she needed as well.

I do feel that many Muslims are pro-Jesus. However, being pro-Jesus is different than believe that Jesus is the Son of God. But that is your decision, and while I may wish that you had chosen a different path, I have no quarrels with you over that issue.

Jesus said he the Son of God (John 10:36 amongst other text). Either Jesus was the Son of God or a liar. So do muslims believe Pro-Jesus was a liar or Muhammed was superior to Jesus?

P.S. Please reduce the volume of your future sermons here on Y to God's glory!

Pro Jesus as you state would indicate that you were following Jesus Christ and no other.

You follow a man, unblessed from birth or any other way.
No, you are not Pro anything but muhammaad, and even he did not believe he was a prophet. His wife had to convince him that the visions were from God.
No Prophet has to wonder if they have been commanded by God to speak to the people. They know they have been told to do this.

Your thoughts are off kilter here, go back to gods word and start over.

they at the instant are not Jews by using fact Jew's do no longer have confidence the messiah has come yet. they do no longer have confidence Jesus so believing in Jesus and saying your Jewish for sure contradicts one yet another.... it particularly is unhappy that there are those Evangelist Christians that decision themselves "Jews". supply up this custom now, your disgracing the two Judaism and Christianity.

Nope! In fact, the Quran seems to really lay it on thick with the Mary thing!!

Jesus was, God, in flesh! Not a messenger! Not a prophet! He was a sacrificial Lamb for all sins! Including Muslims!

So, no, you do not think as a Christian does pertaining to Jesus!

To us, who proclaim Christianity, Jesus is THE MESSIAH promised in the OLD TESTIMENT! He is my Savior, my refuge, my healer, my Redeemer, my God in whom I trust and love! He is my first love because HE loved me first!
