Nope....sorry, (well, maybe lucky charms),
But I am thinking that if you have the ignorance to ask such a question, perhaps it is not for you....
stick to the real and popular cults of todays day and age.....
1) Christianity
2) Satanism

No offense intended, but you must admit, they do corner the market on the whole "CULT" thing!

I hope you find what it is you seek!

No. It is seriously practiced by many who see nature as a reflection of Spirit, both male and female. Your question sounds rather childish, or perhaps merely ignorant. You might try to find out about Wicca, either by reading (I recommend Cunningham) or discussing it with REAL Wiccans (LOTS of posers out there). I guess its easy to call any religion that doesn't conform to your own a "cult". Not actually a very good way to approach the subject. Wiccans respect you, why not respect them?

BTW, many mainstream "Christian" parents tell their children about the Tooth Fairy, read them Peter Pan, and feed them Lucky Charms. Are they Wiccans in the making?

Wicca isn't a cult but a religion---and it is not satanic. Wiccans don't believe in the devil. This is a passive and peace loving religion of much tolerance and beauty---and it has been treated as a "poor cousin" in the religious community for far too long. Research the religion and learn more about it, then come back with an INTELLIGENT question about it.

Wicca was started by some guy back in the early part of the 1900s. He wrote a fiction book about a mysterious ancient religion. He labeled the book as a work of fiction. For some reason, a few people began to believe that his writings were true. They began to write fantasy literature - that was supposed to be based in reality - using this work of fiction as a source. Wicca was born.

If you could find someone who worships the Tooth Fairy, Peter Pan, or the Lucky Charms leprechaun then yes it would be a similar phenomenon.

Short answer, no.

Long answer: you know yourself that this is making a mockery of the beliefs of a pretty substantial portion of the population of the world, and a perhaps somewhat disproportionate segment of those on Yahoo Answers Religion & Spirituality category. That's like saying Christianity is about the Plastic Jesus on your dashboard. No, it's worse. There really are people who take that plastic statue pretty seriously.

Nor, in case you were going to ask, is it a religion for Harry Potter fans, although many Harry Potter fans are indeed witches. Many other witches dislike Potter because they feel he trivializes their beliefs. I love Potter in the same way a Christian can love Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Of course, I do not think there were seven excellent books written about Rudolph, but you get my point. Rowling is very careful not to bring religion into her stories at all.

Wicca is a religion found in various countries throughout the world. It was first popularised in 1954 by a retired British civil servant named Gerald Gardner.[1] He claimed that the religion, of which he was an initiate, was a modern survival of an old witchcraft religion, which had existed in secret for hundreds of years, originating in the pre-Christian Paganism of Europe. Wicca is thus sometimes referred to as the Old Religion. The veracity of Gardner's claims cannot be independently proven, and it is thought that Wiccan theology began to be compiled no earlier than the 1920s.[2]
