You need to tell the vet the puppy has no energy, and she doesn't play. Ask the vet to take a look, maybe check her blood and see if he can find anything wrong. Maybe she has a thyroid problem. Maybe you're feeding her the wrong food. Maybe she has worms, so she's not hungry.

Take care, love that puppy!

Mastiffs are generally low energy dogs although her beign a puppy that does not sound normal. She might have problems digesting the food or have other problems that the vet would best be able to help you with.

Make sure you are feeding your dog good quality food. If your dog food has anything with the word 'corn' init, it is bad, if it has by products or fillers, it's bad as well. Most people don't research dog food and buy brands such as Iams, Purina or anything else at the pet store. You need to switch to a Holistic dog food. I feed my dog Merrick and he is more healthy than he has ever been!

puppies that age should be peppy. it's is common for them to have gotten worms from their mothers milk. (it happens) so the vet will most likely give her a shot to rid her of the worms and she'll be just fine. it's a common thing in puppies. just get it taken care of and she'll be much more active and happy :-)

big puppies are lazy puppies... you actually don't want large breed dogs to be to active as puppies... this time (when their joints and bones are growing) is the time they can really damage themselves if they are too active... so don't be to scared... if she doesn't like her food that's ok... you can check out foods that are better for her (with a lower protein content.. .you don't want her to grow to fast) I usually suggest blue buffalo, chicken soup for the dogs soul, enova, etc... do come research online for some good food... they usually taste better.

She could be sick, or she could just be bored. Do you play with her often? Try buying new toys. Play and exercise will make her hungry.
