anddd I realize it's a dead language, but I also realize that people do take lessons and classes to learn to speak it and that's all I'm asking. :)

i recently completed a fourth year of latin and while you dont speak it you can easily translate it.

meae vita est mihi: my life is to me
meae vita est mei: my life is mine
those are somewhat loose but good

getting a tatoo or something? im getting a latin one in a while, designing it myself.

Unfortunately, most of us don't SPEAK latin (after all, latin has been dead for so many years). I doubt few people would be really fluent. I might know enough to help--I have had five years of Latin and earned college credit through the 4th semester level.

Also, to translate, it isn't really necessary that we speak Latin. All we need to be able to do is write the translation.

Did you want us to translate into Latin or into English from Latin?
