if you do not have a GED or High School diploma, you may not enlist into any Branch of the Military.

Actually, to join the Marine Corp you need a GED and college credits. There is a waiver that you can get, but they are getting more and more strict on who they allow to enter because of all the terrorism and there has been alot of gang members joining just for the training with the weapons. You "can" get a waiver but I wouldnt count on it to join the Marines. Check out the Army, they are the easiest branch to get into without having a high school diploma or GED.

Mrsjvb is wrong, my stupid great nephew just joined the Marines (like I did 1960-65) and we both don't have high school or GED certificates.

If you do not have a HS diploma or GED you wont be able to enlist at all.

Yes you do need at least a G.E.D.
and i suggest you get on, maybe you will learn how to spell ARMY in the process
