Hi. Well, I am so bummed out. I can't help it, I just miss my girl sooo much. We broke up recently, we dated seven beautiful years. I just miss her. Can you help me realize that I will fall in love again later on. I just wish she was back. I still cry all night for her (sniff, sniff).

Louis although it might seem unlikely at present you will fall head over heels for another female sometime in your life when the time is right. We as humans have a pretty solid heart that is capable of reparing itself after a love gone wrong. And the sad fact of live is that most of us will suffer from broken hearts more then once throughout our lives but also be guilty of breaking other hearts. Do not go on the rebound and try and find someone else to share your life with immediately and allow yourself some time to grieve the loss of this relationship. Soon enough, and probably when your least expecting it someone else will come into your life and fill that void that you are currently feeling.

It is. I know its hard. Last summer in June my husband left after 10 years, 2 beautiful children, and 1 crazy long deployment. I havent fallen in love yet (note the yet) but I promise you the sun does come back out again. I know how hard it is, and how much you hurt right now, but it will happen. You never know what the journey will be like, but someone once told me that you have to learn to be happy and confident in yourself before someone else can make you happy and confident. Still working on the confident part, but I can promise you, Im happy. You will be too. It may take awhile, but it will happen.

You will never love like that again. But you will love again. Every time you fall in love it will be different because every person is different. The next one might even be better! After all, you're better now because you've had the experience.

well, a 7 yr. relationship (!) would take a long time to recover from. I think you will need some time to be sad about it but i think in time you will move on. I dont think you can do anything else about it cuz you cant force youself to get over it.

Of course you will! I know it's hard, but keep your head up and your eyes and mind open. It may be tough, but the right one will come around in the end. Don't doubt yourself.
