No. A little closer to 2 or 3 years is more of what I'd call "long term." How old are you? I'm guessing between 13 and 19. At that age it's unlikely you'll have a long term relationship.

7 months isnt long really, but long enough its starting to mean something, and your starting to need to go to the next leval. My measure of long term and your measure of long term could be totally different. I suppose if you said why your asking it might be easier. However its pretty good sign all is going real well. If its made it thru 7 months. Usually when someone says long term there talking of marriage or a commitment of somekind however. A relationship at 7 months is usually going thru some sort of change, So go with the flow!
Sincerely Charmed

No. It is an average length relationship. If they are getting closer, it could turn out to be a long-term relationship after a year of so. However, some people are able to make a lifelong decision to commit to each other and get married in that length of time.

How old are you?
Here are some guidelines
No long term relationships before age 16.
16 to 17 - 6 months is long term
18 to 24 - year is long term
24 plus - over a year is long term.
Does that help?

long term i feel is more than a couple of years. these days, anything over a one night stand is considered a fling or some think it is too long of a term for any relationship.
Example: I am single and have had the same partner for well over 20 yrs. That is long term and commitment!

it relatively is very own. in ordinary terms you recognize once you're waiting. I broke up from a 12yr dating 3 years in the past. Am nevertheless not waiting, not because of the fact i'm disillusioned or something yet i in simple terms won't be able to be afflicted. I even produce different issues in life that are greater important and greater exciting and relatively frankly do not probably fancy yet another dating because of the fact they take countless compromise. there isn't any timetable, once you meet somebody severe high quality who complements your life then choose for it. till then take exhilaration in your self.

Getting there...but I still wouldn't call it a 'long term' relationship, but that's probably because I'm in a two year relationship. Congrats on getting that far though, and good luck!

I'd say three years is long-term. At three years people start asking if you're going to get married.
