im going to ask this gril to be my girlfriend. Im going to do it by getting her some roses and putting them on her front porch with a card in them and im going to call her and tell her to come to the front door and then she will she the roses but not me. Once she picks the roses up i will come around the corner. What do you think of the idea and what should the card say?

Holy crap, you're good. Love the idea VERY much. it's so sweet =3. Man, I wish someone would do that for me >__> LOL. Anyway, about the card... Nothing cheesy. Hm... The Card should say:
"Love... that wonderful feeling you get in your heart. That feeling that makes your heart within you feel the best it's ever felt. That special feeling that makes you soar above all. That makes you feel like you can do anything. That feeling you get for someone...a special someone and not just anyone. That someone is what makes you soar, that someone is what makes you the best you've ever felt, that someone is what makes your heart beat.
You are that someone... My special someone..."
Yeah i think that's kind of cheesy, but if you like it, go ahead LOL. If you don't like it, I suggest that you sit down and just think of everything you love about this girl. Write down, times you've shared, things you love about her and why she is special to you. JUst (WARNING:cheesy line coming up..) follow your heart (so cheesy but honestly, try it ^__^)

I commend you in giving some thought to how you intend to ask this girl to be your girlfriend. Your idea also shows you to have a romantic soul which will serve you well at this time. I will only change and/or add the following to your plan:1 ) If you talk to this lady now, then ask her to a restaurant where you have already arranged everything.At a prearranged signal or time , the waiters will bring out your flowers, you will then turn to her before she catches her breadth and ask her to be your girl.Other diners will also lend you their support .2)Or go with your original plan but let her find you on her porch with the flowers. then tell her what 's on your mind.You can write out what you're going to say in advance.Start with something like "I found love now that I've found you".3)If you have a good voice, then serenade her. I know people may think it is corny, but I think it is romantic.4) Or combine elements of each of the ideas above and come up with something brand new. Which ever way you elect to go I hope this young lady can see that you are a heck of a guy, a guy she should be with. Best of luck buddy.

Damn dude. Props for a plan well thought out.
"You brighten my day like the 4th of July" and then draw some fireworks or something like that.
"These roses aren't even close to being as beautiful as you."
A long note about fun times you've had finishing with your feelings works.
Compliment the eyes. If they're blue, she probably knows they're good looking and will like it. If they're brown, she probably doesn't get many compliments about the eyes and will love it.
Stay away from: "Is that a mirror in your pants, cause I can see myself in them" - bad move, no good.
When other answers say "one of those kinds of sweet guys" or whatever, I'm another one of them. I know it, I consciously have made an effort to be one of those guys so I know what I'm talking about, I love doing stuff like this, knowing you made a girl happy like that is very rewarding.
