the blood could be comming from hemmorids , if the color is dark and your stool looks like there is coffee grounds in it , it could be comming from your stomach . any time you pass blood you need to see a doctor . it could be a serious condition.if the color is brite red its new blood.

Having blood in a bowel movement is always grounds to consult your medical doctor. It can be a range of things; perhaps you were constipated beforehand and then strained, causing a slight rupture...We can all guess and wonder but with blood in your stools, there is truly only one sensible thing to do: Ask your doctor! It could just be internal hemorrhoid's, or it could be something more serious like polyps.My 20 yr old cousin recently had these symptoms and had to have a colonoscopy,which they found 2 polyps and removed them.....Go see the doctor soon

a lot of blood should be checked at once , hospital emergency room. Very little blood can look like a lot though.
It may be something as simple as a bleeding haemorrhoid or it could be indicating a cancer .

This means you should go to see your Dr. Bright red blood means bleeding low in the digestive track. Dark blood indicates the bleeding is high up.

This is probably nothing serious, most likely hemorrhoids. However, the cause can only be determined by a doctor. It's time to go get yourself checked out.

go to a doctor now and don't waste time.you need to have a colonoscopy to check for polyps of any kind.if they are there the doctor will remove them.this can save you from these polyps turning into cancer.it is very common and if caught early very curable.good luck.
