Unfortunately, a picture is a visual representation and may not result in the taste you desire. Most professional food pictures (the one you site is one of those) are often given much "enhancement" by food stylists and you may find it difficult to even get the look in your kitchen that the chef, food stylist, and photographer were able to achieve.
As for taste, that is a whole different matter. You have got to cook it and try it. It's all a matter of personal taste!

looks good and reading the ingredients I think it will taste good too.
I've tried other recipes from the Kraft Foods site which turned out pretty good so I'm confident that your recipe will turn out well too.

It certainly looks good. I just e-mailed it to myself so I could file the recipe. Vanilla wafers, sweetened cream cheese, cool whip, strawberry jam and fresh strawberries; How bad could it be?

I don't see why not. It looks pretty yummy and the ingredients sound good too. I say go for it. Things don't have to be difficult to taste good.

But the more artificial ingredients you put into anything (cool wip) the more artificial it will taste
