start walking kiddo. A minimum of 30 minutes is your goal. Start with just up the street and back each night, add more distance as you can. You'll start feeling much better in just a couple of weeks. Looking much better in 6 weeks.

Studies have shown that being active can give you more energy overall. It sounds like you're still in high school and aren't old enough to join a gym, so I suggest you try out for every school sports team. You don't even have to get up early in the morning to run (well, maybe for some teams) or be good at it, just get out there and be active. If you make the team, great, you made the team. You won't regret it, trust me.

Being lazy has nothing to do with exercise, you can work out for hours and still be lazy. Now, determination has a lot to do with both. Fight your mind when it tells you to just lay around.School practices, maybe a teacher can encourage you, or help you. Maybe if you ask a friend or someone at your school.

I'm the same way Kianna...I know my mother enstiled that in me in my household it was/is ok to gve up..if I was having problems in school my mom would just say "Dont stress yourself out"..

From what I've read and heard, once you've done somthing for two weeks consistently it starts to become a routine..

I would say take away any distractions...remove your tv/stereo from your room, put up posters to inspire you...if you want to get good grades make a poster about it and put if up in your room to remind you everyday of what your goal is when you wwake up...

try to get your freinds involved to make things fun..but dont depend on them, you need to motivate urself for when your friends arent around...good luck and keep pushing.

Running helps, but by its self it may not be enough. You could join a sports team like soccor, softball, or tennis. You could make your exercise like running sound shorter ensted of saing run, say run for 30 minuets then you know how long it is. It also helps you to know when your done instead of saing " its taking to long."

wow i can picture you as my old self... in my house i was the laziest of all to exercise... i mean it came to a point where my mom had to pay me to step on that tread mill... ahh yes as shameful as it sounds, that was the only way that i would ever get up and step on that machine for 10 mins. even after that i got tired... 3 years later.. i just realized that one day im gonna get married and i dont want to look all fat and ugly on my wedding day... so till this day im not trying to lose weight, im have and im going to lose more weight.
what motivated me?
old pictures of me... also i look at myself in the mirror (naked... lolz) and i always ask myself... is this how you want to look.. or do you want to keep going and lose more weight... also have a work out buddy. my mom is my work out buddy and my brothers... you see im blessed because even though i've been engaged for almost a year now, my fiancee understands why i dont want to get married as of yet... just have positive people around you... that should motivate you enough. also... i also ask God to give me strength to help me achieve my goal and to keep pushing me till i reach my goal... i hope this helped you.. take care God bless
